Frequently Asked Questions
Given here is a compilation of the most frequently asked questions about the PrimeOutdoors system. If you have a specific query that is not covered here, please feel free to contact us.
1.How often can the message be changed within a contract period?
A.Message can be changed within a contract period any number of times. If the sites are to be painted, the painting cost will be charged extra depending on the size of the hoarding. In case a vinyl is to be shifted then the mounting cost will be charged extra.

2.Is there a minimum number of hoardings for a booking?
A.No, there is no minimum number of hoardings for a booking.

3.How will I get an accurate picture, location,environment etc. of the site sitting so far away from the actual site?
A.The accurate picture of the location and environment of the site can be gauged with the help of photographs, site maps and land marks on the PrimeOutdoor website

4.Defaced hoarding...are whose responsibility? will I get additional time for the defaced period?
A.PrimeOutdoor will be responsible to ensure that the quality of the hoardings are maintained. In the case of a defaced hoarding additional time will be provided depending on a case to case basis.

5.How do I ensure that after the booking and the payment, my hoarding is actually painted without a physical check from my side?
A.Photographs will be provided to help the client in ensuring the campaign has been properly executed. Inspection of the site will be done before the scaffolding is removed.

6.Are the sites recommended in your database clear of any court injunctions, litigations etc?
A.Yes, the sites recommended in our database are clear of all court injunctions, litigations etc.

7.Is the site directly owned by PrimeOutdoor or subcontractors?
A.Sites are not directly owned by PrimeOutdoor. PrimeOurdoor only markets sites and provides information under one roof nationally.

8. Who follows up on the hoardings actual painting and schedule?
A.PrimeOutdoor follows up on the actual painting and schedule.

9. Will I be reimbursed the charges or an alternate site be given, in case of government tear-down of the unauthorised hoardings?
A.Charges can be reimbursed for the balance period of the campaign if paid in advance or an alternative site can be provided subject to its availability.

10.When I make a booking, how do I know that the hoarding is not contracted to any other advertiser?
A.To ensure the hoarding is not contracted to an other advertiser the client will have to enter into a written contract with PrimeOutdoor. Sites are subject to availability.

11.How do I know that you/your contractor will not give my site away to a higher bidder?
A.In order to ensure the selected sites are not given away to higher bidder, the concerned client / agency will have to release an Release Order to that effect. On receipt of Release Order, PrimeOutdoor will confirm to the contractor in writing to book the site. All sites are subject to availability prior to receipt of Release Order.

12.Can I get a list of previous campaigns on that hoarding to decide on the efficacy of the site?
A.Yes, you can get a list of previous campaigns on that haording to decide on the efficacy of the sites on a case to case basis.

13.If I reject the hoarding after booking but before painting is there a penalty? How much?
A.Yes, there is a penalty on a case to case basis.

14.How often does PrimeOutdoor check to see that the hoarding actually exists?
A.PrimeOutdoor checks the existence of the hoarding through its Back Check / Monitoring System. Through back check / monitoring system Primeoutdoor ensures the correctness of the painting and printing of vinyls with respect to spelling errors, omissions and addition. This system will not be undertaking a judgemental / quality check of the painting and printing of vinyls e.g correctness of the logo, product, the design, its proportions, ratio, colour scheme, colour shades etc.

15.If there is a site that is not in the list of sites, can I ask Prime time to add it?
A.Yes. You can ask PrimeOutdoor to add sites that are not included in the list of sites.

16.If there is a special requirement either in painting or in the shape of the hoarding, will PrimeOutdoor do the negotiation?
A.Yes, PrimeOutdoor will negotiate special requirement either in painting or in the shape of the hoarding, at a cost which will have to be borne by the client / agency.

17.How do you handle cutouts, extensions and other non-standard designs?
A.It would depend on clients requirements and on a case to case basis.

18.Can't I deal directly with the contractor, and is there an advantage in dealing with you? Can it help in negotiating price, availability etc...?
A.The advantage of dealing with PrimeOutdoor would ensure services being provided by one roof at any given point of time, thereby reducing dependence on number of contractors and also helps in ensuring competitive pricing.

19.Does PrimeOutdoor take full responsibility of the campaign once the campaign breaks out?
A.Yes, PrimeOutdoor takes full responsibility of the campaign once the campaign breaks out.

20.What is the commission I have to pay for this service?
A.The payment of commission for these services by PrimeOutdoor will depend on volume of business and clients requirements.

21.Can I get recommendations, suggestions from PrimeOutdoor on locations for my campaign, based on my brand strategy?
A.Yes, recommendations, suggestions from PrimeOutdoor on locations for the campaign can be based on clients brand strategy.

22.Will I get an accurate site map?
A.Yes, you will get an accurate site map.

23.How many photographs will I get to see of a site?
A.Two photographs, a close range and a long range.
24.If my campaign breaks in the middle of a month, will I have to pay for the entire month or for the period used?
A.If the campaign breaks in the middle of the month, the client will have to pay for the period used.

25.Can I subcontract the hoardings?
A.No, you cannot subcontract the hoardings.

26.If the site is not available when my campaign breaks but subsequently becomes available, can I move my site to the new site mid-way? What is the cost implication?
A.If a particular site is not available at the beginning of a campaign, but subsequently becomes available, the cost implications will be based on a case to case basis and with, prior understanding. Rates of respective sites will be taken into accountant on a case to case basis.

27.How do I become a registered user to login and view the sites?
A.You could contact any of our Primetime offices at Mumbai, Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai or Bangalore for getting access to the sites.

28.Do I have to pay for this service?
A.No, the service comes free of charge.

29.What is the shortest term of a contract for a site?
A.One month is the shortest term of a contract for a site.

30.What is the lead time for a site? Will this be indicated along with availability?
A.Seven days is the lead time for a site.

31.How will the contract be drawn and who are the parties involved?
A.Contract will be drawn keeping in mind the following :
(a) With Agency – Between PrimeOutdoor and Agency
(b)Direct Client - Between Prime and the concerned client

32.Could I get dragged in to any litigation that arises on the site?
A.No. However, if the issue is with regard to the display only then will the client be dragged into any litigation.

33.Can I get short term special sites erected for my campaign, how do I go about it?
A.No, you cannot get short term special sites erected for your campaign.

34.Is there any liability when I make a booking?
A.Yes, advance payments to be made along with the Release Order / Written Confirmation.

35.What is the window period within which a booking has to be made from blocking the site?
A.Immediate, along with written confirmation.
